The Fila Brasileiro
The Fila Brasileiro, descend from portuguese herding dogs 
that were introduced in colonial times.
English mastiffs, ancient bulldogs, and bloodhound.
The resultant mixture is a tough, bold guardian, that can also hunt
jaguar,drive cattle, and act as tracker in police work.
The fila is a rare molosser breed. The Fila Brasileiro is the ,
National Dog of Brazil. Because of the filas legendary loyalty,
expressed in a Brazilian saying "Faithful as a Fila".
Fila's make great family pet's and are gentle, loving , loyal and
very protective.
You never have to train your fila to protect you. that is his natural instinct.
One of his characteristics (Ojeriza) Total dislike of strangers.
The Fila adore all members of there family, including children. and ,
love being close to them.
Caution must be taken with visitor's, and early socialization is
recommended for your fila. The fila is for (owners with responsible attitudes)
"Not a Macho personality".
